“MAGNIFICENCE”..Thy Kingdom Come. PART III (Final Part)

SCENE FOUR
With pictures rolling as I capture the magnificence of God’s great works, which I can hardly find words or pen to express. A sight that gives a glimpse to the inexplicable nature of Gods creative ability which he has vested in us all. As I continue to document these events with my camera, the arrival of the city which was initially above me is finally come and the beauty I once beheld was nothing comparable to what was now right before me. I see high mountains, covered with green trees at the base surrounding it. Looking like a thick dense Amazon forest, with different undulating plains and topography’s containing castle like structures on them like it was set in motion. The sight is inexplicable with so much beauty and colour. Suddenly the camera starts flickering, my battery was fast depleting. 4% left it indicated at the top right corner of the device.

Oh no! I exclaimed in exacerbation. Not now, not when the city had finally come. Out of desperation, I looked all out for my sister, as if to ask if she had another device with her, or where my phone was. I soon decided to go get it myself in other to document the view before it wasn't in sight anymore. As I turned back to go get an alternative device which was a distance away, I couldn't help but noticed to my left a number of people heading in the opposite direction.

It seemed like they were heading towards the city that had just come. Although with no luggage’s, they all seemed happy, excited, expectant and eager to get to their destination (The city I was just fascinated by). They mostly walked alone except for a few occasional pairs of two and at most three. It wasn't a crowded pack, but a scanty spaced cluster of happy people. I had initially heard a few familiar voices from the pack, which was what drew my attention to the group.

Scanning and sieving through the group as if to find someone I was familiar with among them, I soon discover someone I know too well. She was in the rank and file with a radiating smile from her face. I became so excited seeing a friend, I could finally ask all my questions particularly about where they were headed. Stepping into the crowd to catch-up with her, suddenly she’s out of sight. It seemed like she seemed to be deliberately hiding away from me. Frustrated by the frantic search, I soon stepped out of the pack about to continue my journey, when she appears in sight again, but this time heading straight towards me dressed in a colorful apparel adorned with a beautiful smile and glow not of this world. With so much excitement, I exclaimed.

ACT THREE

Lizzy! Is this really you?
Without any words uttered, she smiles in response.

SCENE FIVE
Advancing a little further, I stretched out my both arms wide to give her a bear hug for it seemed as if I haven’t seen her in a long time; then the strangest thing occurred. Rather than have her now within my grip, she was right behind me. She had just literally walked through me like a ghost would. I looked back totally stunned at what had just happened, and after walking a few more yards ahead, she takes a pause momentarily, and looks back at me, and with a soft smile once again with no words uttered, she says it all.

I soon realized that my dear friend was no more, for she had passed on a couple of months ago. No wander she initially hid herself. It was a moment of truth for me, and as much as reality dawned on me, I was gladdened much by the way I saw her and the understanding of where she was heading for.

Speaking of where she was heading, I recalled that I am supposed to be heading to get the camera at this point, it was getting dim, and night time was fast approaching. Bolting for the door, to head back as soon as possible, I realize the city was receding upwards and getting farther and farther away. At some point, it all went bluish blank, and I was finally back to the initial scenery of my country home looking at the skies as I earlier viewed it before my first transition. Finally it was gone totally out of sight.
  • I had seen enough,
  • I had seen a lot,
  • I had seen it all.
  • I asked myself, “What wisdom is this”

ACT FOUR

…Can I have the device now!
I was interrupted in my thoughts

…I have a couple of Images I need to extract.
She (sister) said.

…Please be careful with the device.
…I equally have got some priceless data captured in there as well, and I wouldn’t want to lose it.
I responded.

… Okay! Can I have it now?
She asked again.

…I don’t have it. I should be asking you.
…I gave it back to you on my return to the house while searching for a spare battery/ device.
I said.

Oh! I should go get it then.
She turns back as if to go get the device in the house.

Please guard my data without prejudice.
 I re-iterated.

CONCLUSION
Shortly, I gained consciousness. Though mesmerized by all that I had seen, yet I marveled at what it all meant, for I had more questions than answers.

  • Did I just catch a glimpse of heaven?
  • Was it heaven here on earth?
  • Was it the earth after creation, or the new earth to come?
  • Is that what the Lord’s Prayer was all about?

As I tried to piece things together in my own understanding without any luck, then the word Magnificence comes alive once again in my spirit and the scripture I earlier read was brought to remembrance in my heart. Revisiting the verse of the same chapter (prov 2:5) once again, I then understood it all.

I had just caught a glimpse of “GOD’S MAGNIFICENCE”
